Our Story
Serving Colorado’s best Mexican food since 1964!
La Fiesta is a family owned Mexican restaurant founded in by Michael W. Herrera in 1964. For nearly 60 years we have proudly served the Denver Metro area our own interpretation of only-in-Colorado Mexican fare and are considered by many to be a Denver institution. Our restaurant began its existence in a former Safeway grocery store in the historic Curtis Park neighborhood that remains our current location to this day. Our menu features our world famous and award winning green chile and chile rellenos.

We are open for lunch Monday through Thursday from 11:00am to 2:30pm and on Friday’s for lunch and dinner from 11:00am to 9:00pm. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
Join us on the patio for Happy Hour on Fridays from 3pm to 7pm and enjoy two-for-one House margaritas and two-for-one domestic bottled beer.
We have flexible seating arrangements and can accommodate large groups, have your office party or special event with us! We are located in lower downtown Denver just a short 3 minute drive away from Coors Field. Ample free parking is available.
La Fiesta happily accepts cash and all major credit cards, all food menu items are available for take-out service (10% take-out charge).
